Over a decade ago, I photographed this amazing woman, Lizzy, at my studio, when it was in north minneapolis on Pacific Street, right by the river. The studio space was huge, but smelled like chemicals (there was an adult diaper manufacturing co. next door, perhaps that's where it came from) and had two small windows you couldn't reach unless you were at the top of an 8 foot ladder.
This was taken at that studio, Oct of 2004, right after she had completely bleached her hair. I loved this new look on her and we shot a roll with my hasselblad. She promptly went back to brunette, I think within that month.
I found this today, and had to post it. This image feels timeless to me, like it could be from 1962.
